Take the easy road

Don’t have the time or desire to tag your own items? But, still want to earn some money and shop the pre-sale? The VIP option is for you!

For the VIP option for the Munchkin Markets sales, you just simply gather up your items and schedule a drop off time in Woodbury. We will be accepting items for the Spring/ Summer sales Nov 1-Feb 15 and for the Fall sales June 1-July 15. Please bring your seasonally appropriate items in bags or cardboard boxes that you do not want back.

VIP items will go to the Stillwater Munchkin Markets location. Our tagging team will go through your items, prepare, price and enter them into the online inventory system. As a very general rule of thumb, clothing items are priced starting around 25% of the original retail cost and toys, equipment, etc. between 25-50%. Prices are then adjusted for brand, condition and age. Any items that we do not feel are appropriate for the sale (missing button, recalled, too worn, out of season…) will be donated or discarded.

In addition to the list of items we do not accept at the sale from any consignor (Click here and scroll to list), there are a few additional items we do not accept through the VIP option. These items include:

  • DVDs and CDs
  • Bedding/ crib sets/ blankets except for receiving blankets
  • Sleeping bags
  • Outdated or overly worn clothing – Generally, we will be looking for clothing that is less than 5 years old. We will take older items if they are a classic style (polos, khakis, t-shirts) if they are in excellent condition.
  • Onesies unless part of a set.
  • Discount store clothing brands such as Garanimals, George, Faded Glory, Just one You, Wonder Nation, Gerber, etc.
  • Breast Pumps
  • Dollar store items
  • Nursery décor
  • Parenting/ Pregnancy or baby name books
  • Baby bathtubs

For the VIP option, most items will be marked to be discounted on the discount day of the sale. If there are any items left after the sale, VIP_ consignors can choose to pick them up on the consignor pick-up day or have them donated. VIP consignors sell, on average, 90-95% of their items so there are generally very few items left from VIP consignors.

VIP consignors earn 40% of the selling price of their items. For the VIP option there is a seasonal participation fee of $15 which helps offset the cost of supplies, storage and transportation for all locations and is deducted from the first check. You will be able to check your sales online daily and checks are sent out usually within 1-2 days after the end of the sale. We will take care of the physical transfer and storage of items prior to the sale. VIP consignors can shop the consignor pre-sales at all of the Munchkin Markets sales for that season.
