Beginning in the Spring, 2010, Munchkin Markets edpanded to hold 4 sales each season; one at the MN State Fairgrounds; one at the Anoka County Fairgrounds, one at the Washington County Fairgrounds and one at the DECC in Duluth.  Consignors who wish to participate in more than  one Munchkin Markets sale will be able to electronically transfer their inventory from one sale to another without having to re-enter or re-tag items.

**If you plan to participate in more than one Munchkin Markets sale, please read this page carefully to ensure that no inventory gets lost and to avoid having to re-tag items. **

**You are a brand new consignor and have never signed up for a Munchkin Markets, LLC sale  -   Go to the Login page and register for one of the Munchkin Markets sales you would like to participate in.  Let the system assign you a consignor number.  Then go back to the login page and register again as a NEW consignor for the other sale.  This time make sure you enter the consignor number you were just assigned into the desired consignor number box.  You MUST have the same consignor number at each sale to be able to transfer inventory electronically.

**You have previously signed up for a Munchkin Markets, LLC sale and you have a consignor # at one or more Munchkin Markets sales- Go to the Login page and login and register for the sale location you have done in the past.  Then return to the login page and register as a NEW consignor for the new sale location you wish to participate in.  Enter the consignor number you already have in the desired consignor number box. You MUST have the same consignor number at each sale to be able to transfer inventory electronically.

If you have registered for more than one sale location in the past, but do not have matching consignor numbers and you now wish to be able to electronically transfer items, please contact Kristal at kristal@munchkinmarkets.com to have one of the consignor numbers changed PRIOR to entering new inventory.

How to electronically transfer items

Beginning in June, 2009, a new feature in the inventory system makes your inventory "tied" to the sale in was entered into (ie. spring 2009 at Wash. Cty.)  Your inventory will then become inactive and remain in your account for that location as "inactive inventory" after the sale has concluded.  To bring that inventory forward to a future sale or to be transfered it must be made "active" again.  This is simply a matter of logging into your account and selecting "Work with Consigned Inventory" and then "Work with Inactive Inventory" and then select for ALL items to be made active.

Transfering FROM sale #1 to sale #2

Any inventory you wish to transfer needs to be made "active" as per above if it is from a previous season's sale.  Then, make sure that you do not have ANY items in your acct. for sale #2 (This includes having "inactive inventory" in your acct for sale #2).  Then, log in to your account for sale #1 and choose to "work with my consigned items".  Then select "move inventory out".  Click to select ALL items and hit submit.  You will be given a batch number, write it down.  Then log out of sale #1 accout and log into your sale #2 acct and select "receive inventory in".  Select the batch number you just wrote down and then click "receive inventory in".  You inventory has now all been transfered to sale #2 and has left your sale #1 acct. empty.

SOME THINGS TO NOTE

******VERY IMPORTANT*****- You must make sure both the active and inactive iventory of the account you are transfering items to are empty.  If there are any items left in either your active or inactive inventory and you transfer new items in, you will probably have to re-tag your items.

Make sure your tags are marked “Donate NO”, and that you pick up all your unsold items on time. Otherwise they will be donated and not available to sell at the other sales.

Your inventory can only exist at one of the sales, at any given time. This is a technical issue to avoid duplicate item numbers. When you transfer your inventory from sale to sale, it will be deleted from the sale you transfer from and copied into the sale you transfer into. You can only change your inventory at one sale at a time. If you try to transfer items to your account that already has items in the account, you will have to delete all those items first, then transfer into an empty inventory account. It is a good idea to transfer ALL items from transfering from one sale to the next to ensure an empty acct to transfer back into next season.
