We need LOTS of volunteers to make our sales a success. Volunteers are able to shop first at the pre-sale beginning at 4:00 p.m. before other consignors and the public and they earn an extra 5% of the selling price of their items for every 4 hours worked (up to a maximum of 10% for two or more 4 hour shifts)*.
Don't have a 4 hour block of time to volunteer? We can work with your schedule- contact us to sign up for two 2 hour blocks that work for you. We especially need volunteers on Saturday morning and during the sorting time on Sunday. Volunteers who sign up for the sorting shifts on Sunday will receive their check that day instead of waiting for it to come in the mail.
You do not have to be a registered consignor to volunteer and earn a pass to the pre-sale, however, if you are not also a consignor you must select a shift prior to the pre-sale or a bartering option. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer, but are not a consignor.
Don't have time to volunteer at the sale? You can earn a pre-sale pass* by distribute flyers to your friends, family, neighbors, school, church, etc. We love bartering options! Contact us to learn more .
*Consignors who volunteer by distributing flyers/postcards will earn a pre-sale pass, but not the extra percentage. Consignors can earn the extra percentage of their sales only by volunteering at the sale.
No-Show policy
We rely on volunteers to make the sale a success. Please be sure you are able to work the shift before you sign up. If you sign up for a volunteer shift and are unable to make it, you will need to find a replacement if at all possible. Cancellation of a volunteer shift within the 2 days prior to or during the sale or not showing for your shift will result in a loss of any (and all) incentives and plus an additional 15% of the selling price of your items.
* If you have registered under a fundraising option and would like to volunteer- you can only earn the extra percentage for yourself or for the fundraiser. For example, with the fundraising option, a consignor earns 70% and an additional 10% would be donated to the fundraiser. By volunteering one 4 hour shift, the consignor would earn and extra 5% (for a total of 75%) and then only 5% would go to the fundraiser.
